REFERENCING MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

Software tools can simplify the process of accurately referring to sources in the body of your work as well as in the List of References. In addition, some of them provide facilities for locating, annotating, organising and keeping track of the sources used in your research. There is a variety of sophisticated computer programmes as well as simpler applications that provide different levels of support; choose the one that suits your needs best, but keep these points in mind:

A. Make sure that the tool you choose is compatible with CU's version of Harvard style.

B. Occasionally, errors can occur even with the most sophisticated software. It remains your responsibility to check the accuracy of your references against the guidelines in the CU Guide to Referencing in Harvard Style.
