HOW TO REFERENCE AN UNPUBLISHED  BOOKLET, HANDBOOK OR ANOTHER SIMILAR TEXT

 

In-text citation

 

Provide the surname/s of the author/s or the corporate author, the date and page numbers (whenever you make reference to a specific page or range of pages).

 

Examples

According to Dawson (2006:15), a report should be divided into sections with clear headings and subheadings.

A report should be divided into sections with clear headings and subheadings (Dawson 2006:15).

 

Reference

 

Give the author’s surname and initials or the corporate author, then the date in brackets. Give the title in italics followed by a full stop. Write ‘Unpublished booklet’ or ‘unpublished handbook’ then add a full stop and give the place and the institution where it was produced.
